The short version: we use no advertising cookies and no tracking cookies. The only thing this site stores on your device is your answer to the cookie question, and you can change that answer at any time on this page.
What a cookie is, in plain terms
A cookie is a small file a website asks your browser to keep. Some are needed for a site to work at all. Others exist to count visitors, and others to follow people between websites and target adverts at them. UK law treats those differently: the ones that are strictly necessary do not need your permission, and everything else does, before it is stored rather than after.
What we store if you say no
One item, holding the word “rejected”. That is the only way the site can remember not to ask you again on the next page. It contains nothing about you, it is never sent to us, and it stays on your own device.
What we store if you say yes
The same item, holding the word “accepted”, plus permission to count visits anonymously so we can see which pages people actually need. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics for that, which was chosen deliberately: it sets no cookies of its own and does not fingerprint your device or build a profile of you. It tells us that a page was viewed, not who viewed it.
If you have not answered the question, nothing is counted. Nothing loads until somebody has actively said yes.
What we never do
No advertising cookies. No tracking across other websites. No social media pixels. Nothing is sold or shared with advertisers, and nothing about your visit is combined with your health records or anything you discuss with the pharmacy team.
Server logs, which are not cookies
Separately from any of this, our web host keeps standard server records: the IP address making a request, the date and time, the page asked for and the browser reporting itself. Every website has these and they are needed to serve pages and keep the site secure. They are not cookies and they are not affected by your choice. We never use them to work out who you are.
Changing your mind
You can withdraw permission as easily as you gave it. Use the button below and the question will be asked again, or clear cookies and site data for this website in your browser settings, which has the same effect.
